Homeworld 3 to Feature New Graphics Technology, Official System Requirements Announced

DLSS 3, FSR 2, Ray Tracing, and HDR Support Coming to Homeworld 3

Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive have finally revealed the final PC system requirements for the long-awaited Homeworld 3. The game was initially announced in August 2019, with an initial goal of releasing before the end of 2022. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the release was delayed several times, and it is now set for February 2024.

The system requirements for Homeworld 3 are as follows:

These system requirements may seem higher than expected for a real-time strategy game, but Homeworld 3 showcases impressive visuals in some screenshots. Notably, there is no requirement to use an SSD.

The game will also feature support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) displays, ray traced soft shadows with contact hardening, NVIDIA DLSS 3 (Super Resolution + Frame Generation), and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.
