Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 5 promises fix for slowdown issues
Larian Studios has announced that Patch 5 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be releasing later this week to address various issues that have surfaced after the previous patch. The critical issue of eternally active acts of theft and violence causing massive slowdowns will be fixed, rendering the game almost unplayable in certain instances. Additionally, the patch will also address an issue with Astarion and more.
The official announcement was made earlier today via a tweet from Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitter account.
Despite the upcoming patch, Baldur’s Gate 3 has been receiving positive feedback for its engaging story, charming characters, dynamic world, and solid tactical combat system. The game has been hailed as one of the best cRPGs ever released. While the game has minor issues such as a wonky interface and the lack of some quality-of-life features, it definitely exceeds all expectations and delivers an exceptional gaming experience.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5 worldwide, and it will be launching on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S before the year’s end.
